We are looking for an Associate Trainee - Business Developer who will be responsible for driving our sales and grow the business. You will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to the Head of Business Development.The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirableResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Research current IT trends to help the team in daily tasks
  • Accompany business development in the process of generating leads
  • Responsible for bidding on Upwork
  • Conduct regular, standing meetings with internal business partners.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned business unit(s), their goals, and key milestones.
  • Render judgments and make timely decisions in alignment with business objectives
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
  • Research and identify potential clients and projects on Upwork that align with our company's services and expertise.
  • Prepare and submit well-written, tailored proposals to prospective clients.
  • Maintain records of bids, client communications, and project statuses.
  • Assist in managing and nurturing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.
  • A foreign degree would be a bonus

  • Neat, well-groomed appearance.
