Question for UK VISAS DIRECT

In the past i have visited uk three times during my career.now i am 69 yrs old and retired after 40 years engineering career.my daughter is uk citizen.i am living comfortably in lahore with my wife,son and dtr in law in our own bangalow with sufficient assets.from last year gerry courier on queens road sends all visa supporting documents to uk entry clearance officers in abudhabi.they refuse to send any original document except passports and send photocopies of originals to abudhabi.in march 2015 uk visa to spend few weeks with daughter and grandchildren was refused saying they suspect i will not come back to pakistan.they were not satisfied with origin of our funds in bank etc.uk visa websites do not clarify thatsupporting documents to be attested by whom?from ur vast experience please guide me do they accept attestations by oath commissioner in lower courts or high court,or notary republic attestation,or they accept only from foreign ministry branch in lahore,or by class 1 gazzetted officer or some senior doctor ?
