Twhirl is a free, user-friendly desktop application for the Twitter microblogging service, powered by the Adobe AIR platform. It makes sorting through incoming "Tweets" easy by color-coding them and providing timeline filtering, as well as visual and auditory alerts. Additional features not available on the standard Twitter site include favorites settings, URL shortening, customizable color schemes, multiple Twitter account connections, localization, and cross-posting capabilities to Pownce and Jaiku!
