Stages of Purification:
Stage 1: So~Safe’sGold Poly Propylene Yarn Filter Cartridge filters water in two stages. Outside core 5-micron, inside core 1-micron to remove dust, rust, silt, scale and unseen suspended particles. 30% extra flow rate and dust holding capacity.
Stage 2: So~Safe’s K-SGAC105G is a specially designed cartridge to combat both organic and inorganic pollutants in water. It uses two types of media: KDF (Redox alloy medium) and silver impregnated Granular Activated Carbon (SGAC).
Stage 3: Ultraviolet is used in the third stage for sterilization. This is accomplished by scrambling the DNA structure of micro-organisms which renders them sterile. Ultraviolet is regarded as the world’s simplest and most practical means of destroying pathogenic micro-organisms.
