Job offer: Senior Chemist

Job Description

• Provide a high degree of specialist knowledge and analytical competence to the testing and analytical processes undertaken at the QatarEnergy LNG Laboratory.
• Regular contact with various contacts within laboratory division.
• Frequent contact with Operation assets, LNG and Non-LNG storage loading, Laffan Refinery, Commercial and Shipping, Maintenance, Shutdown and Logistics related to his duties
• Context of the role relates to the role serving as the recognized expert for chemical analysis within field of specialization.
• Responsible for understanding, implementing, and assuring Laboratory operations adhere to the ISO 17025 system

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or science discipline.
• Knowledge of international auditing and compliance regulations including ISO 17025.

Experience

7 years’ experience working in a laboratory environment within the Oil & Gas industry, including 3 years as a Chemist.
