Job Description

Supervise all activities including loading at SPM location. Carry out regular inspection of assigned area during duty to identify or detect any faults and takes appropriate action according to established guidelines to ensure the continuous, safe and efficient operation of loading condensate. Sign and review area monitoring sheets, operators’ log sheet, and prepare shift log for shift handover

  • Keep the immediate supervisor / line management informed of abnormalities affecting the operation of loading equipment, granulation operation and storage facilities. Decide according to written guidelines, when to make necessary adjustments to plant operations to maintain optimum plant conditions.
  • Monitor the positioning of the ship when moored to ensure the ship’s position is safe for loading operations. Ensure correct mooring configuration, carry out inspection of the ship and its equipment as per the OCIMF ship/shore check list. Conduct preloading meetings with ship Master / Chief Officer and plans cargo to ensure safe loading operation and make agreement on emergency plans.
  • Ensure the collection of end-user custody transfer information and preparing cargo documentation as applicable. Review laboratory test results to ensure that products meet defined specifications and consult superiors for arrangements for adjustments to maintain required quality standards.

Ensure conditions concerning the operation and loading of the products as pre-berth checks and pre-loading procedures, flow rates and utilities provided to the ship are being followed and recorded accurately

  • Frequent contact with Non-LNG Loading Head of Section, Shift Supervisor, Head of Shift, Maintenance Coordinator, Marine Advisor, Production Planning Lead, Engineering personnel, Safety and Environmental officers.
  • Periodic contact with Asset Manager, Inspection engineer, Corrosion engineer, Asset Engineer.

Qualification

  • High standard of written and spoken English.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Good spreadsheet skills, word processing skills and presentation skills.
  • High school graduate followed by relevant vocational training programme OR DAE

Experience

10 years’ experience in Loading process operations within the oil and gas industry, including 5 years of supervisory experience
