Bytes for All is an international human rights organization and research think tank that strives to understand the impacts of information and communication technologies (ICTs) on society. The organization conducts research on various issues, including usage patterns, penetration of ICT tools and services, and development metrics and indicators in areas such as health, sustainability, and livelihoods. Bytes for All also experiments with and organizes debates on the relevance of ICTs in relation to sustainable development and human rights. Its strategic plan is focused on securing digital rights and freedom of expression, strengthening digital security for human rights defenders and media professionals, ending technology-driven gender-based violence, network building, and community
